Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
pinch salt and ground black pepper
200 grms tasty cheddar cheese, grated
2 spring onions, chopped
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
1/2 cup milk
3 Tblsp sweet chilli sauce
Method
Preheat oven 220C.
In a large bowl sift together flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Mix in grated cheese, spring onion and parsley. In a jug mix together the milk and sweet chilli sauce. Use a knife and cut liquid into dry ingredients. Turn mixture onto a lightly floured board and gently knead. Flatten out to form a rectangle about 2cm deep and cut into 8 scones. Place scones on a baking tray and bake for about 10-12 mins or until golden.
