5oz (150g) Butter
1 cup Chelsea White Sugar
1 dessertspoon Chelsea Golden Syrup
1 tablespoon Cocoa
1 1/2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
3/4 Cup Dessicated Coconut
Melt together butter, sugar, golden syrup and cocoa - do not boil.
In a bowl mix flour coconut and baking powder together.
Combine wet and dry ingredients together and put into a sponge roll tin. Bake for 10 Minutes at 180°C.
Ice with chocolate icing when cool.
Love this recipe. Saw it two years ago and it is a family favourite. So easy and so yummy.
