Ingredients

    2 cups soft white breadcrumbs
    2 Tbsp butter, melted
    3 cups apples, peeled and sliced
    1/2 cup Chelsea Coffee Sugar Crystals
    3/4 cup fruit mince (approx.)
    2 Tbsp sherry

Method

    Combine the breadcrumbs and butter. Place a third of the breadcrumb mixture into a 5 cup capacity baking dish. Cover with half the apples and Chelsea Coffee Sugar Crystals. Spread half the fruit mince on top of apples. Add another third of breadcrumbs.
    Top with remaining apples, sugar and fruit mince. Sprinkle remaining breadcrumbs on top. Cover and bake at 190°C for about 30 minutes.
    Uncover, continue cooking for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden.
