1 Egg
185 Plain Flour
30ml Milk
30g Butter, melted
Pinch of Salt
3 Apples, peeled, cored and chopped
Juice of 1 Lemon
60g Chelsea White Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Chelsea Icing Sugar and Chelsea Maple Flavoured Syrup to serve
1 : Break the egg into the flour, add the milk and beat the batter well. Add the melted butter and salt. Set aside to rest for 30 mins.
2 : Place the apples in a bowl and add lemon juice, Chelsea White Sugar and cinnamon. Toss to coat.
3 : Heat a little oil or butter in a heavy pancake pan and add a tablespoon of the batter, cover with a little of the apple mixture. Fry quickly and turn and fry the other side.
Sprinkle with Chelsea Icing Sugar and drizzle with Chelsea Maple Flavoured Syrup to serve.
Is it 185 grams of flour, it doesn't mention the measurement. I followed the instructions precisely and it's not right. I will try adding more milk.
