Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    ½ tsp baking soda
    ½ tsp salt
    ¾ cup butter, softened
    1 cup (packed) Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar
    ½ cup Chelsea Raw Sugar
    1 Tbsp vanilla extract
    1 egg
    1 egg yolk
    2 cups dark chocolate chips
    1 cup nuts (optional)

Method

    Preheat oven to 180°C.

    Combine flour, baking soda and salt and set aside. Beat butter and both sugars at medium speed until creamy. Add vanilla and eggs, mixing on low speed until incorporated.

    Mix dry mixture into creamed sugar and egg mixture on low speed to combine. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, (optional).

    Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.

    Bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
