170g Butter
3/4 tsp ground black pepper
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup Chelsea Caster Sugar
1 egg lightly beaten
3/4 cup S/R flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup cocoa
1. Place butter, pepper, cinnamon, cloves and essence in a mixing bowl and beat until combined gradually add Chelsea Caster Sugar, and beat till light and fluffy, beat in egg mix well.
2. Sift flour, salt and cocoa into butter mix to form a firm dough. Roll into balls about 1 cm in diameter .
3. Place on tray and gently flatten balls, bake in centre of oven for 12 minutes at 150 degrees C.
