Complete disaster. Very disappointed.

Horrible recipe wouldn't make it again. Muffins turn out dense and eggy

These are, Awesome....
Only had parsley, which I added to the mix..
Stunning!!
Thankyou
Team,
@ Chelsea & Co...

Absolutely amazing recipe whenever I make these muffins my family rave about them. I add onion and bacon delicious.

These were fluffy, light and nicely cooked in silicone muffin pans. The only thing I would add is 1/4 tsp salt.
I added onions with the cheese.

Very good muffin recipe. The people who reviewed it badly need to learn how to follow recipe instructions.
Very simple to follow, low cost for those on a strict covid induced budget. 2 eggs and 2 cups of flour and 2 cups of cheese I reckon costs about $4. So made 6 muffins at 75 cents each. Sure better than a $6 muffin break cheese muffin.

Waste of ingredients.

I loved these so much. They were moist, fluffy and kept well in an airtight container after a couple of days. Delicious straight out of the oven with some butter. A foolproof recipe with incredible results.

These cheese muffins were so easy and tasted delicious with one rash of streaky bacon. Put in hot oven. I added a couple of teaspoons or more of baking powder to the plain flour. Easy and delicious straight out of the oven with butter!

This recipe is ridiculous, needs more flour, less water. I followed the recipe then read reviews but thankfully mixture was still in the bowl so I was able to add more flour I also added salt and swapped out 1 cup of water for milk.

I wish I had read the reviews before making this the first time! As such they came out very eggy, like a quiche, and I'm not a fan of quiche. In fact it's one of my least favourite foods.

Thank you to those who provided adjustments in the comments. Cheese muffins are my favourite

Horrible recipe. Did not rise like what is shown in the picture. Batter was very runny and muffin texture was very gluey. Very decieving.
Will not use chelsea recipes again.

I wished I read the reviews before making these! Like others said, they were too wet, took longer to cook than stated, didn’t rise much, and stuck to paper cups. Most reviews that give 4 stars made massive adjustments to the recipe which meant they were doing their own thing and is not a fair rating.

Made this and it was amazing worked perfectly and tasted heavenly

Made these today for a afternoon tea, these failed miserably, runny mixture, had to cook for 25 minutes, and stuck to paper cases. Please update this recipe!

Horrible recipe. They did not rise. Use milk instead of water.

There are a few misleading things in this recipe, such as;
-needs 25-30 minutes to cook (at least to go crispy and golden on top).
-more of a quiche as it is quite eggy.

I recommend;
-adding more flour at the end (roughly 1/4 of a cup).
- adding plenty of herbs in and on the top (dried mixed herbs).
-I never used paper cases from the start but based on other reviews I don’t recommend them.

Very easy and delicious

Recipe was very easy. Probably too easy. The muffins came out so gluey. The family still ate them but not a recipe I would use again.

I took ather people advice and added more flour and didn't use paper cases . I added herbs and they with yummy. Will make again.

I have made this recipe twice now and love it. I replace 1/4 cup of water with 1/4 cup of oil as it keeps better I feel. Takes around 18 mins in large silicon muffin casings in my oven.

Yeah, definitely needs adjusting. Stuck to the paper muffin cases, grr, and I agree they were a little eggy and pasty looking after20 mins. Will try again using the review feedback :)

Tastes good! Added some chives/paprika/salt. It is quite eggy as previously stated and quite liquid-y so added a little more flour. Not sure if you’d call these muffins per se kind of a mix of a quiche-y/muffin thing! Load it up with butter and a cuppa and it’s a good winter savoury snack.

Not very nice at all. Very plain

Don't use paper muffin cases!

Also it tasted a little eggy, I'm going to try and omit one egg next time

Great tasting recipe, however, I adjusted it a wee bit since other reviews said the mixture was too wet. I only used one cup of water, two eggs and 1/4 cup of butter. Perfectly fluffy.

I made these and they were very wet, rather tasteless despite the two cups of tasty cheese I used. Like a previous reviewer they needed longer than the 20 minutes cooking. very disappointed as all the other Chelsea recipes I have used have been fantastic. :-(

Really great! I make them all the time and they are always a success.

Thank you Chelsea

I made these muffins today following the recipe exactly as it's written and I'm sorry to say that they don't even deserve one star. They weren't even close to being cooked after 20 minutes. I've baked many recipes from your website and they've all turned out to be very very good but I'm sad to say that this one failed miserably

this was so yumm

Easy and yummy

A very wet mixture. Lesson learnt: don't use paper muffin cases! otherwise a nice muffin.
