Ingredients

    Chocolate mixture
    250g packet dark choc bits
1 cup Chelsea Raw Sugar or Chelsea Organic Raw Sugar
    1/2 cup plain yoghurt
    100g butter, cut into cubes
    1 tsp vanilla essence
    1/3 cup cocoa powder
    3 eggs, lightly whisked
    1/2 cup wholemeal flour
    3/4 tsp baking powder

    Cream cheese mixture
    250g cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup Chelsea Icing Sugar
    1 egg, lightly whisked
    1 tsp vanilla essence
    Chocolate shavings, to decorate

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C conventional (160°C fan-forced). Line the
base and sides of an 18cm square cake tin with baking paper.

    Chocolate mixture
Put the choc bits, sugar, yoghurt, butter, vanilla essence and cocoa powder into a medium saucepan. Over a medium heat stir until chocolate and butter melts and the mixture is well combined. Set aside for 10 minutes to cool slightly. Whisk in the eggs then stir in the flour and baking powder.

    Cream Cheese mixture
Put the cream cheese, icing sugar, egg and vanilla essence in a medium bowl. Beat until well combined and smooth.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the tin. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the top. Use a skewer to swirl the cream cheese mixture through the chocolate mixture.
Bake 40-45 minutes or until the mixture is set.
Set aside in the tin for 1 hour before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and top with chocolate shavings.
    Store in refrigerator.

This hit different, it 's easy to make.

Didn’t even make enough cream cheese to cover half the brownie

Great cheesecake brownie, always a hit when I bring it to parties and pot luck. You know it’s a crowd favourite when it’s the first one to finish and friends starts asking for the recipe. Def a keeper recipe.

We made it and it turned out brilliant! :)
