1 tablespoon Chelsea Caster Sugar
1 1/2 cups Edmonds Self Raising Flour
125g Tararua Butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup Meadow Fresh Original Milk
3 eggs
4 cups approx. mixed berries

Place Chelsea Caster Sugar, Edmonds Self Raising Flour, melted Tararua Butter, salt, cinnamon, Meadow Fresh Original Milk and eggs in a blender and process until smoothly combined. Heat a waffle iron and spray with non-stick baking spray. Cook waffles until dark golden brown and crisp. Keep warm in a low oven while you cook the remainder of the batch.
To serve, place 1 or 2 waffles on a plate. Top with berries and a dusting of Chelsea Icing Sugar. Serve with optional Chelsea Butterscotch Natural Flavoured Syrup, Chelsea Caramel Natural Flavoured Syrup, Chelsea Vanilla Natural Flavoured Syrup, yoghurt, ice cream or whipped cream.
Super easy to make, you don't need to blend it in my opinion I just whisked and it was still smooth. It made 10 mini waffles. Put bacon and maple syrup to serve and it was delicious!
Absolute best and most favourite recipe. I’ve substituted freshly ground whole-wheat and sprouted flour with great results every time!
Love it!
Love this recipe. Have been looking for a good and easy waffle recipe for a while. These have a great flavour and crunch to them. Thank you!
Great easy recipe, perfect crispy light waffles first time. I leave the cinnamon out, but only because the kids prefer it without. If I only want three generous waffles, I halve the recipe but use two eggs. Cheers Chelsea ;)
Absolutely delicious! Make these all the time for my family! Even if you take out the cinnamon they are still delicious! Highly recommend.
Awesome recipe. I've been looking for a simple, delicious, and crispy waffle recipe, and this one couldn't be better. So easy!
Awesome recipe, easy to make. Makes a big batter which lasts for a few days.....sometimes in our house :)
