What a simple and easy slice to do, hubby takes these to work every day, he just loves them.

Its great!!!!!!

Made these last night but just doubled the recipe. My whanau loved it and I will definitely be making it again! Perfect texture, it was chewy and crunchy! I used apricots for the dried fruit which gave it a good zing amongst the caramel

Have made this many times, I alternate with different dried fruits. It is so delicious

I have been making this for a couple of years now and it never turns out the same, but still a hit with everyone who tries it. I have made some tweaks though. I use 1 cup of dried fruit and 1 cup of mixed chopped nuts. I also mix the butter & honey in before I add the chocolate buttons to prevent them from melting. It also freezes well.

I made the muesli bars. I used gf edmonds flr. Plus gf baking pd followed recipe baked for 20 minutes cooled for 5 went to cut and alot of it crumbled. Can you tell me what did wrong please

Such an easy recipe to make, a few minor tweaks to get it to our preference such as alternating the cooking time with temperamental oven but now it's the only muesli bar all my children (6) thoroughly enjoy and prefer over any other store bought bars. 10/10 from this household

This is amazing! My family loves it and so do my friends. It’s yum delicious food that everyone should try!

not my fave, i was going for something less sweet and this was unfortunately not it, the kids are not really a fan either, really sad about this :(

Great easy recipe. My children find it easier to eat if I first use the stick blender to chop up the oats to breadcrumb texture instead of using whole oats. Have also successfully replaced 1/4C of flour with cocoa for an Afghan type bar.

This is the most yummiest and most moist thing ever ! its so good and great amount for my children! Thank You so much chelsea!

Love this recipe. Sometimes I use honey and other times I use Golden Syrup. I also use choc drops and add them after the mixture has cooled a little so they don't melt as much. It is a staple in our house every week.

Excellent, very tasty. Easy to make.

After 15 mins it is still very soft and liquidy. I had to put it in for another 10 mins, and was still very soft. I thought it might crisp up once it cooled, but it didnt. It was yummy but very rich and sweet. Will keep it in the fridge so it stays firm. Maybe I did something wrong?? Followed the recipe correctly but maybe I had the wrong size tray... could have made it too thick.?

Great easy recipe. Simple to mix in a Thermomix as well.

Will try this afternoon. I have made a similar recipe - Anzac biscuits with chocolate chips. I found mixing everything except the chocolate chips, then letting it cool a little before adding the chocolate worked a lot better.

Halved the sugar, and I added in seeds (pumpkin, sunflower) as part of that 1 cup of dried fruit. Agree with some other reviews - the heat from melted butter (bearing in mind the sugar needs to dissolve) melted all of the chocolate chips. So pre-oven there was a lovely chocolate smell and the bar was fully chocolate coated... quite moist I think because of this. Cook for longer than 15mins (20+ mins). Delicious!

very yummy and easy to bake! my 11 year old made this all on her own! great resipie and yummy to eat!

Yummy. If hidden away from husband, it lasted whole week for lunchboxes. Kids very happy. Did cook it for extra 5 mins tho as seemed still liquidy in centre after 15 mins.

Very good - easy to make and lasted for ages. I cut into smaller pieces as I found it quite sweet and will reduce sugar next time I make it.

Real good recipe just needs to cut down on sugar and add the melted butter etc when cooled or the chocolate chips all melt. Very quick and easy I substituted butter for coconut oil and golden syrup for honey as it is expensive.

LOVE THE RECIPE BUT WHEN I PRINT IT FOR A FRIEND IT HAS ADVERTISING ALL OVER THE METHOD

Gooey after 25 mins. Yuck!! Not a muesli slice more like biscuit flop!

Fabulous recipe. A real hit in our house. I halve the sugar and it is delicious. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.
