Ingredients

    1/3 cup cooking oil
    3 Tbsp peanut butter
    1 cup Chelsea White Sugar
    1 egg
1 1/4 cup self raising flour or standard flour with 1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 cup rolled oats
    1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method

    Heat oven to 180 degrees.

Mix oil, peanut butter and sugar together, then mix in everything else.  Roll into balls, place on a lined baking tray, and flatten with a fork.

Bake at 180°C for 10-12 mins or until golden. Don't over cook and it will remain light to eat, rather than hard and crunchy.

It came out VERY crumbly, an grainy, and the dough we SUPER DUPER crumbly! idk if i did something wrong, or not, but yeah.

Biscuit came out grainy because of the sugar. Definitely too sweet.
Would recommend to beat oil and sugar well or lessen amount of sugar used in recipe.
Came out crumbly. Maybe I need to use butter? Did consider adding an egg.

Love that it only takes 10 minutes to bake.

These cookies have a good look and taste
I love the idea of them
many thanks

I found this recipe very easy to bake! The first time I tried it even I could agree that it was WAY too sweet so a few weeks later when I tried it again this time I added 1/2 - 3/4 of a cup of sugar instead. They were AMAZING!
I didn't find that they came out crumbly though, maybe some people were cooking on fan bake instead of regular and it dried the mixture out?

Worked out great!

Definitely needs some adjustments. The recipe as it is, is too crumbly as a mixer so I can understand why some people are finding the biscuits quite messy.

I added more oil than they had said. I also put an extra 1/2 egg to get the consistency right, then baked for 12mins till just the edges were soft brown. Came out lovely.

To those who had their misfortune thanks for the tips :) If your trying this recipe use one more egg and half a cup of sugar.

it was a yummy but crumbly you might need to add one more egg if cooking

Love the taste, I used chocolate chunks and oooooh
Like others, found the mixture pretty crumbly, so will try an add another egg next time.
Easy to make with kids and mixture does blend together easily.

1cup sugar is too much. It became extremely sweet.

I didn't find it crumbly, but the choc chips kept falling out, I probably used too many and they were a bit too big. The smaller chips would have been better. Yummy taste though. I used crunchy peanut butter and a large egg which turned out to be a double yoker.

Nice and yummy but it needs more oil

Too sweet and crumbly. More water and an extra egg did the trick. Nice and easy. Delicious

They were nice and were easy to make.

Too crumbly, added one egg that kinda helped... too time consuming.

Very simple recipe but the mix was too dry. I added some water and that helped. Also very sweet, so could cut back on the sugar. Wish I had read the other reviews beforehand.

Crumbly and far too sweet. Did anyone test this recipe? Definitely does not produce results anything like the image. Waste of food and time. I thought Chelsea had a good name to uphold... apparently not :/

Crumbly and nothing like picture

I found the mixture crumbly too and added a splash of water to try and get it to hold together. I probably wouldn't use again in favor of trying another peanut butter biscuit recipe.

Nice taste but very crumbly. I also added an extra egg but it hardly seemed to make a difference. Don't get me wrong the final product was quite yummy but given what a pain it was to try make the mixture come together I probably won't make again.

Easy to make is good, but a little too crumbly in the finished product. A little tweeking to make the consistancing come together a little more and it'd be a winner. Great taste over all.

They are really quick, easy and tasty. I used coconut oil, what worked well!
Defiantly save into my favourites.

This recipe works amazing! I had to add a second egg as the mixture was a bit dry but the taste went down well with the entire family c:
