Ingredients

    MICROWAVE RECIPE:
    1kg Purple Plums, stones removed
    1/4 Litre Water
    1kg Chelsea White Sugar
    2 Tablespoons Rum

Method

    1 : Chop plums and place in a deep bowl, suitable for use in microwave. Add water. Cover with plastic wrap and cook on high setting for about 20 mins or until soft. Remove plastic and stir in Chelsea White Sugar until dissolved.
    2 : Cook on high, uncovered, for about 30 mins or until setting point is reached. Remove from microwave and stir in rum. Ladle into warm, sterilized jars and seal.
