Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups diced red and yellow peppers (about 2 peppers)
    1 red chilli, finely chopped (if seeds are left in the jam will be hotter)
    1 apple peeled, cored and finely diced
    1 cup white or cider vinegar
    1/2 cup water
    2 cups Chelsea Jam Setting Sugar

Method

    Put all ingredients except the sugar in a saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes. Add sugar, stir uuntil it dissolves, then boil rapidly for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and test for set. Spoon into hot, sterilised glass jars and seal.

    Makes 2 x 300g jars.

A bit disappointed. Made a batch with plain sugar tasted good but set not great. 2nd batch with Jam sugar unfortunately this made the jam bitter and left an unpleasant after taste also had to reboil as didn't set. Boiled for a further 10mins.

Love this sweet/savoury jam. I make it every year and is always a favourite with friends and family. perfect with brie and crackers.
