Very crumbly, disappointing.the amount of ingredients is not correct.A waste.

Too much flour!! Is 4 cups a misprint?
Biscuits were of course too crumbly - I have made biscuits for years and never had a problem. First time using this recipe so didn't want to amend it.

I think this recipe is great but I do add an extra 50-100g of butter to the mix to get the right consistency

Dry, same problem as others

Made the sultana biscuits today with the grandkids. I mean what else is there to do on a rainy school holiday day?
The ratio of flour to the other ingredients is well out. I added more warm milk, golden syrup, and baking soda. We ended up with Sultana buns. Edible.

Fail no good biscuits were dry and tasteless chucked them out - looking for a better site for recommendations

Your flour amount is way out.. I hadn't read the reviews and had to do a rescue mission by making up another batch of wet to add in (it came out perfect) so needs to be corrected as others have said.. also easier to go by 225g of butter Instead of measuring a cup.

Should have read reviews first, totally agree on flour quantity, I ended up with practice golf balls after correct cooking time.

Completely agree with other comments - only need about 2.5 cups of flour - way too crumbly/floury with 4 cups of flour

Absolute rubbish, and waste of ingredients. A cup is not an accurate measure for butter in my opinion. The mixture was dry and crumbly; I am very disappointed and cross.... In fact, looking at other reviews, this recipe should be removed from your website. not worth any stars.

I've got to 2 cups of flour and it's really dry. All other ingredients were spot on. Ended up putting in beaten egg to hold mixture and stuck to 2 cups of flour.

I used 1 cup less flour. Would make again but would use only 2 - 2 1/2 cups of flour.

As previously said this mix is not quite right very dry and crumbly would not recommend to a beginner baker.

Try mixing in a egg to this recipe, should hold biscuits together
