3 Tablespoons Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar
60g Butter
3 Tablespoons pecan or walnuts, chopped
3 Ripe pears (or use canned pear halves)
1 Tablespoon Sour cream
3 Tablespoons Shredded Coconut
Yoghurt or Ice cream to serve
1 : Pre heat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
2 : Combine Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar, butter and nuts.
3 : Peel, halve and core each pear. Hollow out a little of the flesh to create a cavity.
4 : Place pears, cut side up, in an ovenproof dish. Place a teaspoon of sour cream in each half. Top with Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar mixture and sprinkle over shredded coconut.
5 : Bake for 5 minutes or until coconut has coloured slightly.
For a delicious touch serve with ice cream or yoghurt.
