Chelsea have been going strong for 125 years and to celebrate this achievement a special cake was made in the form of Chelsea’s iconic Golden Syrup tin. The enormous cake weighed approximately 9kg and was made up of 3 main layers of rich chocolate cake, with chocolate ganache icing in between each layer. The outside was iced to look like a Golden Syrup tin, with Chelsea’s classic image printed on the side using food grade colouring. The final result was big enough to ensure there was enough cake for everyone at Chelsea.
