This natural granulated sugar is also used as a sweetener for coffee or in baking and cooking where it improves the flavour and colour of the end result.
Raw sugar can be used to replace refined white sugar in most recipes except those such as meringues, which require only the sweetness of the sugar with no added colour or flavours.
