500g fresh or frozen mixed berries
500g granny smith apples, (about 4 medium), peeled, cored and finely chopped
    1/4 cup water
    1kg Chelsea Jam Setting Sugar

In a large saucepan combine berries, apples, water and Chelsea Jam Setting Sugar. Cook over a low heat stirring until sugar has dissolved. Increase heat and boil rapidly for 4 minutes. Remove from heat, then test a small amount on a cold plate, (the surface of the jam should wrinkle when a spoon is pushed through it). Spoon into hot, sterilised glass jars and seal.

Makes 2 litres or about 4 medium jars.

I have made this wonderful jam from home grown produce. It is quick to make and easy to understand. Thanks.

I made jam for the first time today and used this simple recipe.
I absolutely nailed it! The taste and smell of it were so satisfying that I for sure will be making this again! The Chelsea jam setting sugar was amazing! it was so simple to do and not that time consuming!

Fabulous and easy. Tastes fantastic! I gave it a quick wizz at the end with my wand mixer to blend it a bit too.
