Ingredients

    250g biscuits, crushed
    110g butter
    1/2 cup Chelsea White Sugar
    Few drops of vanilla essence
    1 egg
    2-3 Tbsp cocoa
    Raisins, sultanas or chopped nuts

Method

    Melt the butter and sugar together, then add the cocoa and the vanilla essence. Take off the heat and let cool. Add the egg and beat in well, then add crushed biscuits and press into a greased tin. Put in the fridge to set before slicing into squares.

I make this every week - it;'s delicious and so easy to prepare! My family loves it

I make this a lot - it is simply divine - we put icing on ours to make it even naughtier!

Very easy to make and I'm only 10! Every one loved it making a BIG! Batch for my 7 year old brother soon to be 8. I will always use this recipe. I love it finished in 1 day when i made take my stars and MAKE THE DESSERT!

Personally I put the egg in just before removing from the heat and that worked for my mum in the 60's and me today. It's a simple, great recipe as you can adjust the sugar content!
