Serves

50g Tararua Butter, softened
75g Meadow Fresh Traditional Cream Cheese
1 cup Chelsea Icing Sugar (150g) + extra 1/3 cup (50g) if using for piping
Beat butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy.
Add Chelsea Icing Sugar and beat until smooth and well combined. Use the extra 1/3 cup Chelsea Icing Sugar if you will be piping the cream cheese icing (rather than spreading).
Spread on top of a cake or muffins, or pipe onto cupcakes.
Mmm… soo good! It made more than I thought it would as well! I piped it on top of some carrot cupcakes and it was so easy to make and pipe. Towards the end it started to melt a bit but all icings do that. I would recommend adding a bit more cream cheese and a little bit of lemon juice for some more flavour, but this was so yummy! 5 stars, will definitely make again
Omg… I LOVE IT! It’s so simple yet tasty. I used it to pipe into mini carrot cakes and it was so creamy and easy to work with. I did add a little bit more cream cheese to mine but I will definitely use this recipe again! I think it would be even more awesome if you upped the cream cheese to 85-90g and added a squeeze of lemon juice.
Great amount - not too huge and so quick. Added orange rind and orange essence for an orange almond cake.
My mokos gave this icing their seal of approval!! I couldnt believe how quick and easy it was to throw together....I added a heaped teaspoon of cocoa and spread it over their banana cake.
I should have checked the ingredients! I just made a three tear sponge cake and I don’t have butter!

I made this for a Banana Cake the other day and was well impressed. Keeps its shape well on the cake and tastes delicious. Flavours can be added like vanilla or lemon. Delish
