Final Bow (End time)

Decorations
- For your ballerina birthday decorations, be sure to have lots of pink, along with silver, white and purple colours.
- Decorate your front door with wreaths to match the theme. It's a nice welcome for your ballerina party guests, and it also signals the party location.
- Decorate with lots of streamers and balloons and place a mirror in your party area so young ballerinas can use it before their performances. Decorate the mirror with glitter and stars.
- Set the theme by creating the prettiest party table a little girl has ever seen, add lots of pink and white ribbons, confetti, flowers and streamers to the table. Lay a pink table runner over a white tablecloth with matching pink napkins and cutlery tied loosely with a pink ribbon. Top it off with balloons tied to the back of each child's chair.
Games
- Give each guest a tiara and provide them with a tutu (for those who don't have their own) to change into. You can play ballet music in the background (e.g. Nutcracker or Swan Lake).
- Put various ballet activity books on the floor. Distribute pencils, crayons, and colourful markers. Have the girls colour ballerina colouring pages.
- Invite a local ballet teacher or a family friend to teach your group basic ballet moves. Tell her how old the guests are before the party. She can come up with various ballet moves and activities to entertain your ballerina birthday party guests.
- "Pin the Tail" game at ballerina birthday party becomes Pin the Tutu on Ballerina. Make or purchase a poster of ballerina. Cut out tutus out of colourful construction paper. Blindfold the girls and get them to stick tutus on the ballerina where they belong.
- Grand Performance - Put Swan Lake, Nutcracker, or other ballet music in the background. Let the birthday girl to be the leader dancing to the music, while other players copy her moves. Continue with this activity until everyone had a chance of being a leader, or they are too tired to continue.
- Attach inflated balloons on long strings to girls' ankles, wrists and waists. Turn the music on and let the children dance. They must protect their balloons while trying to pop balloons on the other dancers. The child left with the most balloons after the music is switched off, wins.
- Pass the Slipper - You can play this ballerina party version of "Hot Potato" game. Girls pass ballet slipper around. A chosen player with her eyes closed randomly says "Angelina Ballerina". Whoever holds the slipper when that happens - is out of the game. The play continues in this manner until there is only player left.
- Record about 2 minutes of a pretty ballet song (record it over and over so you don't have to keep stopping to rewind the music) and teach the ballerinas a simple dance. Before the party decorate a room to look like a stage and place chairs facing the stage. When the parents arrive to pick up the guests treat them to a performance.
Here is an example of a dance:
Ballerina Ballerina Twirl around. (Twirl around)
Ballerina Ballerina Touch the ground. (Touch the ground)
Ballerina Ballerina Up on your toes. (Stand on toes)
Ballerina Ballerina Strike a pose. (Stop and freeze in a pose.)
Ballerina Ballerina Take a rest. (Girls put hands together palms together then put them to the side of their faces and tilt their head, like they are sleeping.)
Ballerina Ballerina Take a bow. (Bow to the audience.)
