This is a pretty good recipe but the cooking temperatures were a bit low for my oven - as another person said 160 fanforced or 180 would be a better bet.

I have been making this recipe for years - ever since it was printed on the sugar packet. This week I used a mix of dark & caramel white chocolate with caramel HIghlander Condensed milk. Great flavour combo.

These were nice and simple for someone like me who never bakes. I brought them to a shared work lunch and they were a hit. Definitely a great success!

Love these biscuits my favourite so far

How long would you say these cookies last for? (That’s if I don’t eat them all tonight - they’re that yummy!)

CHELSEA SUGAR: Hi there, these cookies will keep well for about a week in an airtight container :)

This was an amazing recipe my parents and siblings loved it and so did i do you have anymore delicious recipes ?

Great biscuits - taste good and not too sweet.

My children love these biscuits so easy to make

Haven't tried the recipe yet- any suggestions for subs to make it dairy free? I see the condensed milk could be omitted but alternatives for the butter? Thanks!

CHELSEA SUGAR: Hi there, they won't be quite the same but you could try subbing the butter for a dairy-free spread/margarine.

amazing!

Yummy so yum

I made this recipe and they are delicious! I didn't have oats so I used chunky oaty muesli and Whittakers white chocolate and it was even better. They do look very pale as though they aren't fully cooked - but they are.

hi i dont like oats so what can i use instead?

Really easy to make and they taste great! This recipe also makes a really good amount too.

Excellent cookies! Kids devour them

Amazing tasty biscuits, so easy to make. I add chopped nuts or anything else I need to use up in the cupboard it just adds to the taste. I take them into work and everyone loves them.

yummy

Nice biscuits but took way to long to cook at the temperature in the recipe. Might have worked better at 180 or 200 degrees Celsius instead.

I added half a cup of coconut to the mix, could easily adjust this recipe to suit your own taste!

This recipe is a family favourite! It's relatively quick and easy and the mixture goes a long way. I have been using this recipe with white sugar cos that's the pack I found it on originally. If I don't have condensed milk, I make it without and it still tastes good.

Lovely, easy recipe--tasty, light, chewy cookies were a hit! Apparently wasn't paying attention and omitted the condensed milk and cocoa powder--were still great. ;-)

Yummy biccies. .didn't use the condensed milk though and they turned out fine. .also just made a big Slab and cut them up as I had my 3 year old helping and couldn't be bothered rolling out 24 cookies. .we will definitely make again!
