Banana Split with Microwave Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

    1 tsp cornflour
    2 Tbsp cocoa
    25g butter
    4 Tbsp Chelsea Golden Syrup
    3 Tbsp water
    4 bananas
    4 scoops vanilla ice cream
    4 pink wafers (to serve)
    chopped nuts to decorate

Method

    Place cornflour, cocoa and butter in a measuring jug.
    Add golden syrup and water.
    Cook on high for 90 seconds in the microwave.
    Whisk well. Cook on high for 2 minutes more.
    Peel bananas. Spilt in half lengthwise.
    Put 2 halves(i.e. one banana per person)into 4 sundae dishes.
    Put a scoop of ice cream on top of each.
    Pour chocolate sauce over each, top with chopped nuts and serve.
