Ingredients

2 cups Edmonds Standard Grade Flour (300g)
    3 tsp Edmonds Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 eggs
1 2/3 cups Meadow Fresh Original Milk (415ml)
1/2 cup Chelsea White Sugar (113g)
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 ripe bananas, mashed

    To Serve
    Sliced or grilled banana
    Grilled bacon
Chelsea Flavoured Syrup - Golden, Maple or Honey Maple

Method

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl or jug.

Whisk together eggs, milk, Chelsea White Sugar and vanilla. Add to flour mixture and whisk until smooth. Stir in the mashed banana. Leave to stand for at least 15 minutes or up to 3 hours in the fridge.

When ready to cook, heat a lightly oiled frying pan over a medium heat. Spoon 1/4 cup measurements (or an ice cream scoop) of batter into pan and cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges start to dry out. Flip and cook the other side until lightly golden and cooked through.

Serve with sliced or grilled banana, grilled bacon and maple syrup.

Was so so runny! Kids didn’t like because of consistency was a shame!

very nice with a bowl of oatmeal

Nice recipe!!

I change the flour to Gluten Free and put in two bananas as I needed to use them up. And they turned out really yummy

These are delicious! I added 2 bananas and half a cup of chocolate buttons and they were so good - only needed some butter on top as they have so much flavour on their own. They came out really fluffy.

Highly recommend and will be making these again!

I make these more often the I would like to admit , they are so goood!! Always fluffy and moist , I have to double the mixture because there just isnt enough hahahaha awesome recipie

Great recipe, made about 10 1/2 cup pancakes - light and fluffy, so good

Quite dry and found that the batter is more of a roti flatbread type of texture. Will not be using this recipe again.

Very delicious, used half the sugar, slightly less milk and added another banana and it tasted like banana cake mmm yummy.

Easy to make and makes plenty.

Halved the sugar and added 1 banana and reduced the flour and milk by 1 cup. Perfect!

We have these pancakes every weekend and we love them

I think it is a beautiful idea.
Thanks very much.

I made this with gluten free flour, almond milk and half the sugar - delicious!!

this really failed for me it was to runny and I couldn't turn it over so it got burnt. It tasted quiet good though.

Amazing pancakes! The kids shoveled them in too!
Will definitely be making again

I love this pancake recipe! So easy to make. For extra banana-ness I add two bananas instead of one. My family love them. Highly recommend!
