so easy to make & delicious .. i misread the recipe by adding everything in the bowl (as per method of recipe) to melted butter then MIXED 2gether & it still turned out da Bomb!! and saved time

They are good, if a little dry on the edges. Nice and fudgy in the middle, and cooked very well, although I didn't end up getting much of a crust on the top.
it is very easy to make but it turned out horrible and the inside tasted like soap. Never ever ever make these brownies. :(
Is small, but very yummy. Easy recipe. Made yesterday and today. Will try doubling the ingredients next time for a bigger brownie.
ok.have aeen better recipes, this one is dry and weird tasting, everyone dont put it in for aslong as they say as they dont know what theyre talking about. safe time, search a new one.
The BEST brownie recipe! I sub 1/4 cup brown sugar and only cook for 20mins, any longer and it will dry out and go cakey…. and it’s so gooey and chewy delicious! Lasts a day in our house

I baked it for 30mins because that’s when it started to crack but it was dry and more like a cake than a brownie, really disappointing. Years ago I made brownie all the time and it has the delicious crisp edges with the gooeyier middle. I’ll keep searching for a recipe that suits my preference.

This is now my go-to brownie. I love that the butter and sugar content isnt too high and its super easy to make. (I use 1/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup white sugar) I use a bread tin as its not a huge portion of dough and it comes out beautiful. Bit more cakey that a brownie, but keeps for ages and is very tasty.
This recipe was awful it made the batter all clunky and clumpy and tasted weird please fix this recipe it is so bad
these are really nice!!
i had to double the recipe but only added 3 eggs instead of 4. everything turned out fine and i will definitely make again some time :)
My first try at making brownies and it was a roaring success. So simple and not too sweet. I added walnuts like the Americans do. It was lovely and moist.
Only hiccup was not knowing what the size of a brownie pan was, I used a small slice tin which was probably a little big so didn't get the height I expected.
taste delicious and are really easy to make but a bit cakey and doesn't make a lot. overall good though.
How big are the pieces as it says it makes 8?
CHELSEA SUGAR: Hi there, the pieces are fairly large. You could cut it into 16 smaller pieces.
I thought it was a good recipe we added Snifters chocolate in ours and mint essences it was deeelicious.
Great recipe, just wondering what the nutritional value is?
CHELSEA SUGAR: Hi there, glad you're enjoying this recipe :) There are some nutrition calculators available online that you could use to help you work out the nutritional value.
Great recipe and easy to make. I melted butter in a pot and then followed instructions. I added dried cranberries and once cooked sprinkled freeze dried raspberries.
Love it I only put it in for 17 mins instead of 20 mins that way it's not too dry. I've made this recipe a few times.
It is ok, it is yum and easy but doesn't make much. I doubled the recipe and it was great, so I think this recipe is ok. Very simple and straight, but that's good. This is also my first time making brownies from this recipe, and I think I might use it next time.
I love this brownie. It is super delicious. I also sift some icing sugar on to the brownie. I love it.
Great recipe. Easy to follow. Tastes yummy and it’s a little fluffier than the typical gooey brownie which is. Perfect. Have made one everyday since discovering this recipe. Definitely a go to recipe. Easy peasy.
It's an alright recipe it doesn't take much eggs but, its really small so I would recommend to do a double mix.
Are the chocolate chips optional?
Chelsea Sugar:
You can choose not to add chocolate chips. However, it may be best to choose one of our brownie recipes that does not have chocolate chips included.
I really loved this recipe. Not too hard to make and the proof of its yummyness is repeated requests from chocolate loving Granddaughter to make another! It doesn’t last long.
A really good recipe. I've made it about 15-20 times now! I would probably add more cocoa (1/2 cup) but I really like chocolate so its up to you.
I also sometimes add dessicated coconut to it as well (1/4 cup) - really nice!
I love this Brownie recipe, it's easy, tastes great and keeps well if you need to make it in advance.
Great recipe especially when I substituted butter with Coconut Oil. I agree it gets better the next day.
Excellent recipe. Have made it several times. Doesn't use too many eggs. It's better when left overnight.
I loved this brownie but I only put in half a cup of sugar an is very nice and put in the oven for 25 mins
I loved this recipe! It was simple to make and turned out delicious. It took 35 minutes instead of the recommended time but that was the only flaw in the recipe. I recommend using white chocolate chips instead of normal chocolate chips.
