Ingredients

    1/3 cup Chelsea Golden Syrup Tin
    200g dark chocolate, chopped
    150ml cream
    2 Tbsp unsalted pistachios, chopped

    Fresh fruit for serving e.g. strawberries, cherries or bananas
    Marshmallows or sponge finger biscuits, for serving

Method

    Combine the Chelsea Golden Syrup, chocolate and cream in a saucepan and stir over a gentle heat until melted. Fold through pistachios.
    Pour the fondue mixture into a warm serving bowl and place in the centre of a large platter of fruit and marshmallows.
    Using a fondue fork, pierce the fruit, marshmallows or biscuits and dip into the fondue.

    Tip: Chelsea Golden Syrup provides a wonderful caramel type flavour to this fondue or any of your favourite desserts, toppings or sauces.

Tried out this recipe tonight, as a treat for the grandchildren, after their school break up for 2020. What a lot of excitement, and 8 and 13 year olds loved it. Tick from us, and will definitely be making the sauce as a fondue again.
