Serves

200g butter
½ cup cocoa
2 cups Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup plain flour
2 eggs
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 30cm x 20cm tin.
Put butter and cocoa into a big saucepan and melt gently, DO NOT BOIL. Add Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar and vanilla and stir well. Take off heat and sift in flour.
Add eggs and beat really well (this is easy enough to do by hand). Add in the chopped walnuts (optional). Spread evenly in tin and bake for 20-25 minutes.
When cool, you can ice with a thick chocolate icing but by no means does it need it!
I was 2 eggs short for other brownie recipes so I was a bit skeptical about this one. Low 'n behold it turned out to be equally rich and decadent! This recipe is a keeper! So quick, easy and delicious. Slightly over or slightly under, its perfect!
Awesome recipe! I accidentally left it in the oven for 35 minutes but they were still tasty. I will make them again but not leave the brownie in the oven for so long!
Amazing, I add a cup of chocolate chips, half in the mixture and half on top and it’s so delicious! Also put 1 & 3/4 cup of sugar when I do this. I use dark chocolate & nuttelex buttery so its dairy free too
