Ingredients

    125g butter, softened and chopped
    ½ tsp vanilla essence
    1 cup Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar
    1 egg
    1 cup plain flour
    1 cup self raising flour
    1 cup chocolate chips/chunks

Method

    Preheat the oven to 180°C . Line two baking trays with greased baking paper.

    Put the butter, vanilla essence and Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer and mix until creamy. Add the egg and beat for one minute. Using a wooden spoon, fold in the flours and chocolate chips.

    Place walnut sized balls on each try and bake for 10-15 minutes or until light brown on the bottom. Cool on trays.
