Not the best brownies I've made. Tastes good but very sweet. Also difficult to cut and serve as it keeps falling apart. I doubled the recipe resulting in way too much butter. Won't use this recipe again.

Worsw brownie recipe it didn't taste like a brownie couldn't it was falling apart when I tried to eat it 0/10

honestly my little grandkidoes loved this so much now every time they come for a wee hangout they always ask me 'nan can you make us your famous brownie?' Bless their little souls, it reminds me of when their mother was just a youngin and she used to go off to the neighbours house every Tuesday at 9.30 am, one day I caught her and you know what she said ' but mum their mum makes them brownie.' Ever since then my life goal has been to serve the kids of America brownie.

Best brownie recipe I’ve ever used! My go-to now it’s sooo fudgy! Add 1/2 cup of chocolate of your choice for double choc fudgy they’re soo good

Best brownie recipe I’ve ever used! These are sooo freaking good and don’t take long to make at all. Definitely recommend making these

I just made this and it's definitely sweetilicious

I tweaked the measurements a little for perfect fudgy brownies:

200g butter
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
(melt together in microwave)

1 and 1/4 cups brown sugar
2 eggs and 1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
(cream together with mixer until pale)

Fold in cocoa and butter mixture with the sugar and eggs

Sift in 1 and 1/4 cups plain flour

Fold all together and add any extras you want (I added 1/2 cup of chocolate chunks)

Bake for 25-30 mins

Came out perfect!

Lovely chew on the edges, but extremely sweet (and I have a sweet tooth) and a little too soft for my liking - it was difficult to maintain a shape when cutting into slices, I had to try and press a few back together again. I will be making another batch this evening and altering the recipe slightly - adding a pinch of salt and an additional half cup of flour, and reducing the sugar by half a cup.

This is my families favourite brownie. It is amazing every time. This will be my forever brownie recipe. Definitely will use in my bakery.

I followed one of the reviews which said to add less sugar so I put in 1 1/3 cups sugar. Tastes good, not too sweet. But it's EXTREMELY dry, cakey and crumbly. More dry than cake. Not impressed. I've had packet brownies with better texture than this. Makes me wonder if these ratings are made up by the company. Won't be using this recipe ever again.

sweet so i recon 1 cup on brown sugar and less cocoa powder but otherwise good recipe and very gooey. I put it in f0r 25 minutes because it was more brownie batter than actual brownie

.............. I asked a workmate about her brownie recipe and she said to go to Chelsea sugar and use anything they have listed under brownies; she is correct.

I was a bit worried this didn't have any baking powder in it and threw in half a tspn. We split the recipe in two, layered the pan then put in chopped up pepermint chock and normal chock bits then dumped the rest of the batch on top. Insanely good. Had with van ice cream. It was a biblical moment.

Delectable brownies! Was too sweet for my preference - I reckon 1.5 cups of brown sugar instead of 2.

The best fudge brownie ever!!! Turns out perfect every time. Perfect if you love a gooey brownie. So easy to customize and add different flavours. I have made so many variations - cream cheese, triple choc chip, raspberry, peanut butter. Definitely give this recipe a go!!

Oh wow oh wow!!! This is such a good recipe. I added dark chocolate near the end so there would be chocolate chunks throughout, and salt on the top for extra yummness. So yum

I love it heaps.

Awesome recipe - love it

The dough does not fully rise because there isn't any baking powder and the dough is sticky and does not taste like fudge brownies it just tastes like the dough. You cant even pick the brownies up because they fall apart. This is very upsetting and disappointing!!

I doubled the recipe but used less butter, sugar and eggs and the brownies came out looking perfect. I thought 400g butter was too much and so on so with those ingredients I would recommend you cut these down by 25% and the brownies will be perfect.

Awesome recipe, was delicious.
