I saw a pack of Pams oatmeal in a man's trolley last week and thought it was a good idea to get some so i look forward to trying it, it looks so good, I've never used oatbran before just the rolled oats in various textures but I'm sure Chelsea that yours will be my go to recipe.
Thanks for sharing
I personally don't like it but thats just me otherwise even though I didn't like it I could still tell it was a good bowl of porridge
Just a little feedback for you, the serving proportions aren't enough. Thanks for all your hard work Chelsea I always use your recipes.
Not much of a cook myself, to be quite honest spare the thought actually As my wife Filipino is an amazing whizz in the kitchen but she’s not feeling too well lately so have stepped up to the plate I winged it a little with the porridge as I had to make for 3 and our little toddler But smashed it out the ball park on my first attempt I stirred in and added little more brown sugar however to taste whilst simmering as well as a little more water as well as milk to keep ingredients to a fairly moist but not too runny consistency then served , with maple or golden syrup and a little more milk just to fill in around the edges of the bowl I and my family were amazed I did however burn the toast that I had planned to go with it But yeah if not for this guide as a reference I would had most likely burnt the oats too Thanks Chelsea
I thought it was going to be hard to make but it wasn’t at all,it was really delicious and I really enjoyed it.
I wanted to say this is a nice breakfast. The way I cook it is I boil the water in a pot make after that when the water is boiling turn it down to a low temperature and add the porridge.
This is a very small serving for two people. I would suggest doubling it. Otherwise very good. I used coconut milk which was nice.
I halved it to make 1 for myself very very small serving had to go back and make another. Other then that tastes awesome!!
Good recipe but you forgot to add cook time for microwave, despite saying use less water.
CHELSEA: apologies! we have updated the recipe.
Yum, but definitely doesn't serve 4. 2 at a stretch.
CHELSEA: thanks for the feedback. We've updated the servings.
It tastes great. I am 10 and I find it very easy and quick and My family loves it too and I personally think it's the best recipe I've ever done
