- 1 1/2 Tbsp Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp butter (15g)
- 2 Tbsp milk (30ml)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp chocolate chips (optional)

Turned out well. Find it slightly hard to mix it all in, that's probably my fault. Could be sweeter and I only put mine in for 50 seconds. Thank gosh it wasn't rubbery.

All the other recipes failed but this is amazing! Super bouncy and soft and only took me 5 minutes to make. I would definitely make it again

Great recipe. I used a small egg and only mix to combine. I cooked it in the mixing jug for 90 secs on high, light and yummy! I think the trick is using a very small egg and do not overmix.

Method
Sift flour, cocoa powder and salt into a small bowl. Stir in sugar.
Place butter in a small heatproof jug and microwave until just melted. Add milk, egg and vanilla and whisk with a fork until combined.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Spoon into a mug (at least 300ml capacity). Sprinkle with chocolate chips, if using.
Microwave on high for 70-90 seconds, or until cake has risen and the top is just set. Do no overcook.
Dust with extra cocoa powder and serve immediately.

- 2 tablespoons Chelsea Maple Flavoured Syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch of salt

- 2 apples chopped bite size
