Shiny outer coating, moist fudgey centre tempered by the occasional chunk of walnut. Described as the best brownie from the home of brownies, this recipe was submitted by our very own Recipe Club member Jolene Dittmer.
I tried this last night and it tur ed out like cake, not chewy, or moist. But I didn't just throw everything into a food processor, I creamed the sugar, and eggs, and then added the rest of the ingredients as normal. CHELSEA: Ah, that might be the culprit! This brownie’s all about that dense, fudgy texture — using the food processor (or mixing gently by hand) keeps things thick and gooey. Creaming the butter and sugar adds extra air, which can turn it more cake-like. Still tasty, but if you're after that classic brownie chew, go with the quick mix next time.
