  • 2 Tablespoons Chelsea Golden Syrup
  • 2 Teaspoons Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Cream
  • 4 Sultana Muffins (see recipe below)
  • 140g Tin Apple Puree
  • 2 Fresh or Dried Dates, finely chopped

Combine Chelsea Golden Syrup and Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar in a saucepan over a moderate heat. Bring to the boil stirring, rapidly boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add margarine and cream and stir well.
With a sharp knife, cut out a lid from each cup cake. Scoop out a little cavity. Lid and crumbs can be discarded or served extra with the puddings.
Spoon equal quantities of apple puree into each cup cake. Top with equal quantities of dates.
Microwave on high (100% power) for 1 minute.
