question how many milliliters is each jar??? CHELSEA: Great question! This recipe makes about 4 cups of scrub in total, so if you're filling 6 jars, about 200mL jars work perfectly to give you a bit of room at the top. Hope that helps - they make such lovely gifts!

I make these scrubs for my daughters for Xmas. Not only are they so easy to make and adjust the recipe for different flavours (aromas) but my girls love them. My eldest is constantly begging me to make her refills as she says that her skin is so soft and smooth after she has used her scrub. I have also made the Gingerbread scrub (they go mad for this one) and the Peppermint scrub.Awesome recipes, thanks Chelsea.

Method
Coconut oil is typically solid at room temperature, so add the coconut oil to a microwave safe glass and heat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. Just enough that it liquifies, but doesn't heat up.
Next, pour the sugar, coconut oil, and vanilla extract in a large glass bowl and mix well.
Spoon the sugar scrub into glass mason jars, decorate with colorful twine or ribbon, and add a label with the list of ingredients and made-on date.
Give as gifts or enjoy on your own!
