Decided to add 3 teaspoons instead of four teaspoons of baking powder, and 1 cup of sugar and that definitely improved them. I also added 1 teaspoon of vanilla instead of half a teaspoon, and they came out absolutely perfect! Crispy and golden on the outside and soft and spongey on the inside. Totally recommend this recipe, my thirteen year old could make these and she can't bake to save her life! Definitely going to make some more!!!
