Debby's Fantastic Peanut Brownies

125g softened Tararua Butter
1 cup Chelsea White Sugar
1 1/2 cups Edmonds Standard Grade Flour
1 tsp Edmonds Baking Powder
Pinch of salt
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup peanuts, roasted and husked
Preheat oven to 180°C bake. Grease two oven trays.
Cream Tararua Butter and Chelsea White Sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Sift Edmonds Standard Grade Flour, Edmonds Baking Powder, salt and cocoa together. Mix into creamed mixture. Add peanuts and mix well.
Roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls. Place on greased trays and flatten with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes, or until cooked. Makes 20 biscuits.
