  • ¾ cup cocoa
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup strong hot coffee with 1 Tbsp whiskey
  • Chelsea Icing Sugar, to dust

Method

Preheat oven to 150°C. Sift all dry ingredients into a large bowl.
Make a well in centre and add all liquid ingredients, apart from the coffee.
Stir well and finally add in the hot, strong coffee.
Pour into a lined, greased round baking tin and bake in oven for 1 hour, or until cooked.
When cool, dust with Chelsea Icing Sugar. Serve.
