I was finding this really hard to mix, then I scrolled down the comments to see part of the method was missing: put butter sugar and honey in a pot and heat until sugar has dissolved. Then add to other ingredients. Hopefully it still comes together on the oven! CHELSEA: So sorry about this! We've corrected the recipe now.

I make this most weeks as a lunchbox filler. It’s a great way to use up the Weetbix crumbs. I’ve got it down to one pot - after the butter/sugar/honey melt, I add the dry ingredients, mix, then add the egg and chocolate and mix again.

In the last year or so the method for this recipe has changed. It is now missing the step for the heated butter mixture..... put butter sugar and honey in a pot and heat until sugar has dissolved. Then add to other ingredients. This is a loved recipe in our house. Only realised changed recipe as kids wanted to try making it.

Really easy and a nice slice. A bit too sweet, so reduce down the sugar and chocolate. I add sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.
