Nice work, Chelsea. This recipe is correct and consistent with expert recommendations. The people having a whinge below need to head back to school and do some maths. The 'too strong's comments below made me laugh so hard! Rookies.

The ratio is correct. I think some people have misread. I cup white sugar to 2 litres of water is essentially 1:8 ratio. Bees should not be interested in such a weak solution but Tuis and wax eyes love it.

Method
Dilute the cup of Chelsea Sugar with the water in the clean container
Put out just enough sugar water to last for a day
Wash the container and refill each day
Sit back and wait for the birds to arrive
