Great Tamarillo jam. I have a glut of the fruit.Added two very thinly sliced lemon, just before bottling, it adds a bit of variety
Cut fruit in half. Place in a large saucepan with the water. Bring to the boil. Remove tamarillo skins and return fruit to water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mash fruit, add the Sugar and boil again for 10 minutes. Stir frequently and test for setting, then cool slightly.
