6 plump tamarillos
2 cups water
4 cups Chelsea White Sugar
Cut fruit in half. Place in a large saucepan with the water. Bring to the boil. Remove tamarillo skins and return fruit to water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mash fruit, add the Sugar and boil again for 10 minutes. Stir frequently and test for setting, then cool slightly.
Pour into sterilised jars and seal.
Great Tamarillo jam. I have a glut of the fruit.

i made this jam last year at the end of the tamarillo season, wont make that mistake again and will start making it as soon as the first fruits appear, it is Delicious
