The first time I made it, i got lumps. Was still a good hit on biscuits! But I mixed it different the next time, for a smooth fudgy biscuit icing. I melted the butter in a pot, sifted the dry ingredients into it slowly, and mixed thoroughly, mashing with a fork until it was an even crumble - staying in the pot on the slowly cooling stove. Only once it was perfectly mixed I added the hot water, just a few drops at a time. Kept it warm while spreading the biscuits. Came up fudgy and yum. I also found you can reduce the sugar somewhat by changing 1/4 cup of the icing sugar for 1/4 cup of cornflour. No noticeable difference, still very sweet, maybe could do more., approved=true, user_name=Stacey, rating_new__1_5_=4, hs_createdate=1716176735159, rating=80, id=13316209729}, {comment_text=Bit to chocolatey, approved=true, user_name=Emm, rating_new__1_5_=3, hs_createdate=1716176735148, rating=60, id=13316223656}]}
