Chocolate Ganache

    1 1/2 cups chocolate, broken into pieces
    1 cup of cream (single)


    Heat chocolate in a double boiler or in a heat proof bowl set over a pan of simmering water (make sure the water doesn't touch the bowl). Heat until the chocolate has melted.
    Remove from the heat and gradually add the cream and mix well, as you mix it the chocolate should get darker. Once mixed pour over the dessert item and enjoy!
    Lasts for 7-9 days in the refrigerator.

I thought this ganache recipe was too runny, even hours in fridge and set, was still not thick enough in my opinion. I was disappointed as this was my first attempt at ganache. I would recommend either adding more chocolate or less cream

I love this chocolate goodness it is delicious. Totally recommend making it!
