THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS, approved=true, user_name=jax, hs_createdate=1702249869184, rating_new__1_5_=1, id=11175490093}, {comment_text=Admittedly, I messed it up. Never trust a sleep deprived, suspected dyslexic that's bad with numbers to measure your ingredients, kids. Got a highly fussy family member that I fed my concoction to, though, and I can't hear any complaining from them. I've also no idea what brownies are supposed to taste like - but if you mess up and make a slightly sweet, and buttery pastry instead attempting to follow this recipe, that's okay, too. You don't even need to rely on sugar to make it taste alright for that one fussy human in your life, because they'll just make a confused noise, pause, and then scoff it down after a moment of deliberation anyway., approved=true, user_name=Jayden Thomas, hs_createdate=1702249869182, rating_new__1_5_=4, id=11175513784}, {comment_text=its so delicious i'm 11 years old and like to bake a lot.....this recipe is one of my go to's.Many people have told me these are delicious so if you are wary of trying them don't be they are so good!!!!!well done Chelsea sugar, approved=true, user_name=Isla, hs_createdate=1702249869167, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175400795}, {comment_text=These were delicious brownies, approved=true, user_name=Grace, hs_createdate=1702249869129, rating_new__1_5_=4, id=11175369833}, {comment_text=my kids loved them., approved=true, user_name=hailly, hs_createdate=1702249869118, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175653701}, {comment_text=AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!Really smoooth and creamy, and I'm only 10 and ca make it myself.10/10 !!!!!!!, approved=true, user_name=Elliot Lovelock, hs_createdate=1702249869097, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175329334}, {comment_text=I altered this recipe slightly to make a more gooey brownie. Like what you see in the photo provided by Chelsea. Instead of 1 1/2 cups of sugar, I mixed in only 3/4 cup of sugar. Recipe also calls for 1 cup flour, I only added 3/4 cup of flour. I added 1 whole size 8 egg along with 2 egg yolks. Even though the recipe asks for 4 eggs. I also added a handful lot of choc buttons , both milk chocolate and white chocolate, for extra gooeyness :) Add whatever floats your boat.As for all other ingredients and instructions, those remain the same.NOTE: Do not over cook brownie. It will look under cooked in the centre and a bit wobbly...that's ok. Suppose to be that way. However if you are unsure then an extra 5 mins should be fine. Just keep your eye on it.I made these changes after reading the reviews and noticed a lot of avid bakers had baked themselves a cake instead of a lovely brownie. I could have easily done the same hehe :) Having tried different recipes over the years and just experimenting, I hoped I had picked a few things up along the way so went ahead and tweaked things a wee bit. 3 stars to Chelsea. 4 ¬Ω stars after tweak lolHappy baking everyone!, approved=true, user_name=Evangeline, hs_createdate=1702249869084, rating_new__1_5_=3, id=11174084672}, {comment_text=It was delicious definitely going to use this recipe again (:, approved=true, user_name=Esther, hs_createdate=1702249869082, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175519130}]}The brownies tasted delicious
Melt butter in a saucepan large enough to mix all ingredients in. Mix in cocoa, remove from heat and stir in Chelsea White Sugar.
For a little extra indulgence, add chocolate chips or roughly chopped chocolate to the batter before baking.
Moist, fudgy brownies should have a very slight wiggle in the middle when you take them out of the oven. A skewer inserted into the centre should come out with crumbs attached. If there is a lot of batter on the skewer, the brownie needs to be cooked for longer. A clean skewer generally indicates the brownie is overcooked.
Over mixing and over baking can make a brownie dry. Mix the ingredients until only just combined, and monitor closely towards the end of the cooking time.
Stir a generous amount of chocolate chunks into the batter before baking. You’ll get an extra fudgy brownie with little pockets of gooey chocolate. To help stop the chocolate sinking, toss chocolate in a sprinkle of flour before mixing in
Chocolate brownie is delicious eaten by itself. Turn it into an epic dessert by serving warm with ice cream or whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate, caramel or berry sauce.
