We have been at sea now for over 6 weeks and this recipe is my husbands and my go to for a quick bite to eat, especially when you need something that gives you that warm feeling from the inside out.Occasionally I've had to replace some ingredients when I've run out, but usually manage with what is in the pantry like spices, herbs and other sauces. A recipe that finally gives you scope and variety no what you use. Sorry but I must have done something wrong as it was a disaster. Did not rise and took 30m minutes to cook properly to light brown. Will wait and see when it is quite cold before I decide what to do with it. Still think it requires an egg to help it rise. Y scones have always been light and fluffy. I have not been able to cook again for at least 5 uears owing to health and eye problems so a bit of a disappointment without my usual recipes to hand. Probably lost my cooking mojo. I was after a quick, easy and tasty savoury scone recipe and this definitely hit the spot. Definitely recommend it! I added bacon and capsicum too. I added a bit more chilli sauce and spring onions and baked them a couple minutes longer until the tops started going golden. The sweet chilli definitely made them a stand out from a regular savoury scone., approved=true, user_name=Michelle, hs_createdate=1702249865369, rating_new__1_5_=5, id=11175581605}]}
